The front wheel drive consists of external and internal constant velocity joints (SHRUS), connected by a shaft. The outer joint transmits torque and provides angular movement of the front suspension and rotation of the front wheels. The internal joint transmits torque and provides angular movement of the front suspension. Two types of drives are installed on the car: manufactured by GKN (pic. 6.123 and 6.124) and manufactured by PSA (pic. 6.125 and 6.126).
