Each of the front drive shafts on all Peugeot 306 models has on the gearbox side a so-called triaxial joint, which can move in the internal V-grooves, and a homokinetic constant velocity joint on the wheel side, which is not capable of moving. It should be noted that drive shafts are not the same on all models. The nut at the end of the drive shaft has a very high tightening torque (depending on the thread diameter) and counterfeit. The drive shafts are shown in Figure 197.
