Special devices:

Special devices:
1 - extractor 6339-T;
2 - device for removing / installing rolling bearings 9501-T.E4;
3 - support washer 9501 -T.C2;
4 - puller 9501-T.D5;
5 - mandrel for installing hub cap 5709-T.F2;
6 - bushing for installing the target of the rear wheel speed sensor ABS 0814.


Remove the rear brake disc hub (see the corresponding operation).

Removal the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Target



Install two wheel bolts into the brake disc hub.

Place the brake disc hub in a vice.

Install fixture 3 and 1.

Remove the ABS wheel speed sensor target (1) using tool 1.

Remove the ABS wheel speed sensor target (1) using tool 1.


Note: During the process of removing the target, the wheel speed sensor fails, so after each removal it is necessary to install a new target.

Install accessories 2 and 5.

Remove the bearing using a press.

Caution: Use new rolling bearings and retaining rings.


Lubricate the bearing seat in the rear brake disc.

Parts must be clean and free from any signs of abnormal wear or impact.

Install fixture 4.

Install the bearing until it stops using a press.

Install a new bearing retaining ring (2) into the socket.

Install a new bearing retaining ring (2) into the socket.





Installing the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Target



Caution: After each removal, a new wheel speed sensor target must be installed.

Position the wheel speed sensor target (1) on the rear brake disc hub.

Install fixture 6.

Push the wheel speed sensor target (1) in as far as it will go using a hammer.

Install the rear brake disc hub (see the corresponding operation).
