2. Each lamp is in its own socket. To replace the lamp, remove the socket from its mounts. The lamps are single-filament and have a bayonet fit in the sockets. To remove the bulb, press it down, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out of the socket (see photo).
3. Install the new lamp in reverse order. Upon completion, check the operation of the lights.
Replacing license plate light bulbs on Estate models

1. If the light is on the bumper, pry it out of the bumper so that the bulb can be replaced.
2. If the light is installed on the tailboard, unscrew the 2 mounting screws and remove the light. Disconnect the lens from the socket, remove the old lamp and install a new one (see photo).
3. Install the lamp back in place in reverse order.
