To check the starter under full battery voltage, short-circuit terminal "30" (large terminal on the Bosch starter) with terminal "50" (contact to the right of the large terminal) wire with a cross-section of at least 4.0 mm².
If the starter works normally, check the electrical connection diagram of the starter. If the starter does not turn on, it should be removed and checked.
A thorough check of the starter can only be carried out on a test bench in a workshop.
When replacing, install only a starter of the type corresponding to the type of engine installed.
