To remove the front fender:
  • open the hood;

  • remove the clamps 1 (figure 10.46) the upper front fender mounts by turning each of them a quarter turn;
  • open the front door;

  • remove screws 1 (figure 10.47) rear front fender mount;
  • detach the front fender by moving it away from vehicle A;

  • unscrew screws 1 and remove retainer 2 (figure 10.48) lower front fender mount;

  • remove the front part of wing A from the clips (figure 10.49), be careful not to break the fasteners when doing this;
  • disconnect the electrical connector from the side turn signal repeater;

  • remove the front fender from the car. When removing the right wing, take care not to break the absorber protrusion 1 (figure 10.50).

To install the front fender:
  • when installing the right front wing into place, install the absorber protrusion 1 into the groove, being careful not to break it;
  • connect the electrical connector to the side turn signal repeater;
  • install and adjust the position of the front fender;
  • screw in the upper wing mounting screw from the front pillar side;
  • install the clamps 1 (see Figure 10.46) upper wing mounts and rotate them a quarter turn;
  • from the front pillar side, screw in the lower and middle wing mounting screws;
  • secure in clamps A (see Figure 10.49) front part of the wing;
  • screw in screws 1 (see Figure 10.48) and install the clamp 2 of the lower fastening of the front wing.
