To remove the center console:
  • turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
  • remove the lower center part of the front panel;

  • at the front of the center console, remove the two fasteners 3 (figure 10.76);
  • remove the lower cover 2 located under the parking brake lever;
  • lift the rubber base 6 and unscrew the bolt 5;
  • remove switch 1 of the airbag deployment prohibition;
  • lift the center console up and disconnect the electrical connector from socket 4;
  • remove the center console by sliding it along the parking brake lever.

To install the center console:
  • installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal;
  • connect the ground wire to the battery;
  • initiate all electronic systems.
