Attention! To remove the bearing, you must use a special puller.
To replace the intermediate bearing of the right axle shaft:
- remove the right axle shaft;
- check the condition of the bearing, which should rotate easily and evenly and should not have any play between the inner and outer rings. Replace the bearing if necessary;
- using a long-throw universal puller, remove the intermediate bearing from the axle shaft. Lubricate the inner race of the new bearing and, using a hammer and a suitable tube that rests against the inner race of the bearing, install the new bearing onto the axle shaft;
- check that the bearing rotates easily and evenly.
