- remove the engine protective cover;
Caution! Before starting this operation, drain the fuel through drain hole 2 (figure 4.84). Diesel fuel can be drained through a plastic tube. Failure to do so will result in diesel fuel entering the clutch mechanism.
- remove snap connector 1;
- remove clamp 3;
- move the cover aside 4;

- remove filter 1 (figure 4.85) diesel fuel;
- clean the bottom of the filter housing.
Install the fuel filter in the reverse order of removal, while checking the presence of sealing gaskets 2.
Bleed the fuel system by pressing the fuel pump lever repeatedly until you feel noticeable resistance (20 jocks max).
Note: Air is removed from the fuel system through a valve adjusted to a pressure of 40 kPa and connected to the injection system return line.
