The ECU is installed in the power steering pump unit block.
There are two electronic boards in the ECU (the operation of electronic equipment is ensured by a microprocessor and a self-diagnostic system).
The ECU controls the operation of the electric pump unit to change the flow rate of the hydraulic pump taking into account the following data:
- information about the running engine;
- steering wheel angle information;
- steering wheel speed information;
- vehicle speed information;
- power steering fluid temperature information.
