Diesel ICE — Removal (Peugeot 207)

Note: Removal is done through the bottom of the vehicle.


Note: After turning off the ignition, wait 15 minutes before disconnecting the battery (to ensure that the "learning" results of the various computers are remembered).


Disconnect the battery.

Special devices:

Special devices:
1 - jack with platform 0004;
2 - set of plugs 0194T;
3 - forks for removing the drive rods of the gearbox 0216-G1 / 0216-G2;
4 - engine support bracket 0005-E;
5 - specific support 0005-N1;
6 - set of supports holding the power plant 0005-G;
7 - set of supports holding the power plant 0005-C;
8 - clamp for removing and installing elastic clamps 0165.


Remove:
  • decorative engine cover;
  • protective screen under the engine;
  • front wheels;
  • front bumper (see the corresponding operation);
  • headlights (see the corresponding operation).

Unscrew the two mounting bolts (1) of the cooling radiator (2).

Lift the radiator slightly and move it forward.

Remove the accessory drive belt (see the corresponding operation).

Remove the subframe and drive shafts (see the corresponding operation).

Remove the subframe and drive shafts (see the corresponding operation).


Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system (see the corresponding operation).



Remove the battery and tray.

Disconnect the coolant outlet block hoses (in area "a") (using tool [8]).

Disconnect the coolant outlet block hoses (in area «a») (using tool [8]).


Disconnect connectors (5) and (3). Remove the engine ECU (4).

Move the wiring harness aside.

Move the wiring harness aside.


Unscrew bolts (6) and (7).

Move the wiring harness aside.

Move the wiring harness aside.


Remove the high voltage fuse box cover (8) and power supply wiring harness (9).



Disconnect the power wire harness connector (in area "b").

Disconnect the power wire harness connector (in area «b»).


Disconnect the connectors (10).

Loosen the mounting bolt (11).

Without disconnecting the pipes, turn aside and secure the air conditioning compressor (12).

Without disconnecting the pipes, turn aside and secure the air conditioning compressor (12).


Loosen the bolts (14).

Remove and move aside the clutch hydraulic drive slave cylinder (13).

Remove the vacuum tube from the vacuum pump.

Remove the vacuum tube from the vacuum pump.


Disconnect and move aside the gearbox shift rods (15) (using tool [3]).



Disconnect the reverse limit switch.

Disconnect the reverse limit switch.


Place the lift [1] with supports [6] and [7] under the power unit.

Secure the intermediate support [4] to the cylinder block.

A (car with air conditioning): Fix the intermediate spore [5] to the air conditioner compressor support.

B (car without air conditioning): Fasten the intermediate support [5] to the cylinder block.

B (car without air conditioning): Fasten the intermediate support [5] to the cylinder block.


Tighten the support fastener kit. Raise the power unit slightly using the lifting table [1].

Mark the position of the lifting table on the floor.

Mark the position of the lifting table on the floor.


Caution: Before disconnecting, clean all low pressure circuit pipe connections (if necessary).




Disconnect the fuel supply and return circuit (in area "c").

Seal the fuel supply and return pipe connections (using tool [2]). Disconnect the air bubble outlet pipe to the expansion tank (in area "d").

Loosen the mounting bolts (16) and (17) and remove the upper right engine mount (18).

Loosen the mounting bolts (16) and (17) and remove the upper right engine mount (18).


Loosen the mounting bolt (19).

Remove the powertrain through the bottom of the vehicle.
