Removal



Disconnect the battery.

Remove the air supply pipe.

Using tool [1], disconnect the two ball joints (1).

Unscrew the casing stoppers (in zone "a").

Remove the center console (see the corresponding operation).

Remove the control lever seal.

Remove the spacer holding the gear shift cables (in area "b").

Special device:

Special device:
1 - Hinge release tool 10mm 0216-G1;
2 - device for positioning the gearbox lever 0317-AU.

Move the seal (2).

Unscrew the nuts (3).

Remove the gear shift actuator and cables.

Remove the gear shift actuator and cables.


Using tool [1], disconnect the ball joints (4).



Unlock and pull up:
  • fastening the drive cable sheath (5) (clamp in area "c").
  • fastening the drive cable sheath (6) (push in the direction of arrow "d").

Remove the transmission control cables from their supports.

Remove the transmission control cables from their supports.
Remove the transmission control cables from their supports.


Installation



Reinstall:
  • flexible transmission drive cables;
  • gear shift control lever;
  • sealing gasket (2);
  • spacer (in zone "b").

Tighten the four nuts (3) to 10 Nm.

Install the cable clamps (in area "a").

Connect the ball joints (1).

Adjust the gearbox drive.

Reinstall the control lever seal and center console.

Connect the battery.

Make sure that all gears shift without sticking.
