2. There are 7 fuse positions on the box, numbered from front to back. The first position is not used. The second is only used on models with rear fog lights. Other fuses (NN 3-7) responsible for the following circuits (Variations are possible depending on the model):

Fuses and relays on models since 1983
1. On the latest models, the relay / fuse box is noticeably more complicated than on the early ones (see b/fig. 12.116 and 12.117).
2. Circuits protected by fuses are specified in Specifications. A good fuse has a fusible filament inside, a blown fuse has no filament (see photo).
3. Two relays in the box serve the auxiliary electrical equipment and the rear window defroster.
