Replacing the front passenger airbag (Peugeot 307)

To remove the front passenger airbag:

• turn off the central airbag system;
• remove the instrument panel;
• remove the instrument panel trim;

• remove screws 1 (figure 9.63) front passenger airbag mounts;
• tilt the airbags away from the dashboard and remove it.

To install the front passenger airbag:

• connect the airbag electrical connector;
• install the airbag in place and secure it with screws;
• install the instrument panel trim;
• install the instrument panel;
• turn on the central airbag system;
• initiate all electronic systems.
