- turn off the central airbag system;
- remove the center console;
Caution: Do not remove the airbag computer under any circumstances while the electrical connector is connected.
- wait 5 minutes before doing any work (airbag computer power reserve discharge);

- unscrew bolts 1 (figure 9.64) airbag computer mounts;
- disconnect the airbag computer electrical connector;
- remove the airbag computer.
