- lower the door glass to the lower stop;
- disconnect the ground wire from the battery;

- using a plastic spatula, remove the rear decorative element 1, releasing it from the clips at point A (figure 9.47), then at point B;
- remove the door trim;
- remove the dust and moisture protective film covering the inside of the rear door;

- remove the inner lower seal of the door window opening 1 (figure 9.48), pulling it up;

- remove the glass guide seal, starting from the left corner A (figure 9.49) and then clockwise;

- unscrew nuts 2 (figure 9.50) 1 glass linkage mounts;

- lower the glass until the glass mounting bolts 1 appear in the holes A (figure 9.51);
- unscrew the 2 bolts securing the glass to the window regulator through the holes in the door;
- use your hands to lift the glass up to the stop and secure it in this position with adhesive tape;
- lower the window regulator to the lowest position;

- disconnect electrical connector 1 (figure 9.52) from the windshield wiper;
- move aside the wiring harness 3;
- use a 10mm drill to drill out rivets 2 (see Figure 9.52) window lifter mounts to the door;
- move the window lift mechanism up in the direction of arrow A, then into the door;
- remove the window regulator through hole B in the rear of the door;
- drill out the remaining rivet parts from the window regulator;
- blow out the inside of the door to remove any debris from drilling the rivets.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- when installing rivets, take measures to protect the door;
- attach the dust and moisture protection film, which should be installed without folds or tears;
- the surface on which the dust and moisture protective film is glued must be perfectly clean;
- the glass guide seal must be installed starting from the upper rear corner;
- connect the ground wire to the battery;
- check the functionality of the window lift;
- initiate all electronic systems.
