- disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
- on five-door and station wagon (SW) vehicles, remove the rear door trim;
- on three-door vehicles, remove the rear trim panel;

- remove screws 1 (figures 9.58, 9.59, 9.60) fasteners and remove the speaker;
- disconnect the electrical connectors from the speaker.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- connect the ground wire to the battery;
- initiate all electronic systems.
