Remove the external parts and units of the gearbox in the following order:

- remove bearing 1 (figure 6.42) clutch release;
- place the gearbox on a wooden stand at least 180 mm high;
- remove support 2 from the speedometer drive gear;
- unscrew the drain plug;
- unscrew the oil filler plug;
- unscrew switch 3 of the reversing light;
- remove the axle shaft flange seals;

- remove lever 1 (figure 6.43) ball joint;
- remove clamp 3 and jumper 2;

- remove rocker arm 1 (figure 6.44) intermediate gear shift mechanism.
Install the external parts and units of the gearbox in the reverse order of removal.
