2. Lift the spring-loaded latch at the top of the headlight and pull the top of the headlight toward you. Remove the headlight by removing it from the lower mounting bushings (see photos).

3. To remove the lamp, disconnect the electrical connector at the back of the lamp. Lift the 2 springs holding the bulb in the headlight and carefully pull the bulb out (see photos).

4. Install the new lamp in reverse order. Check that the mounting protrusion on the lamp flange fits into the corresponding recess on the headlight housing (see photo). When using halogen lamps, be careful not to touch the glass with your fingers (use the protective tube supplied with new lamps). If you do touch the glass of the lamp, it should be wiped with methyl alcohol.
5. The headlight is installed in reverse order. If you haven't touched the headlight adjustment screws, you don't need to adjust it.
Removal and installation of headlights on models produced since 1983.
1. Remove the front grille.
2. Release the retaining spring at the rear of the headlight and rotate the locking lever towards the center of the car. Pull the headlight outward to remove it from the stud (see photos).
