2. The diagnostic socket is located in the upper left corner of the valve cover. On B / fig. 4.12 shows the wires connected to the diagnostic socket. With the appropriate instruments, the following can be checked and adjusted with the engine running using the diagnostic socket:
- A. primary circuit status (low voltage circuit)
- b. breaker contact status
- V. the value of the angle of the closed state of the contacts
- d. the initial value of the ignition timing
- e. work of centrifugal and vacuum ignition regulators
- e. motor speed
3. If you are going to carry out any work with the tdm sensor, you should first familiarize yourself with the procedure for adjusting the air gap of the sensor (see next section).
