1. Practice has shown that a distributor bulkhead does not make sense, even if spare parts for it are on sale. Usually, the distributor cover, slider, breaker contacts and capacitor need to be inspected. In addition to them, there are no heavily wearing parts in the distributor (excluding roller and centrifugal regulator). If at least one of the mentioned parts is so worn out that it needs to be replaced, it can be assumed that the rest are also worn out, and it is better to replace the entire distributor assembly. For those who still decide to sort out the distributor, on B / fig. 4.b and 4.7 show disassembled 2 types of distributors used on the Peugeot 305. There should not be any special problems when sorting, provided that you accurately remember the position of all parts, even the smallest ones.
