The vehicle's electrical equipment is designed using a single-wire circuit. The negative terminal of the electrical consumers is connected to the body ("ground"), which acts as a second wire. The nominal voltage of the on-board network is 12 V.
Fuses of the corresponding color are used to protect electrical circuits. The serviceability of a fuse is determined by the presence of a wire conductor connecting the fuse contacts.
When working on electrical equipment, remove the ground cable from the battery to prevent the possibility of short-circuiting electrical circuits.
The engine electrical equipment consists of the ignition system, power supply, electric starter, lighting and light signaling. In addition, the system includes control and measuring instruments and additional equipment.
Power saving mode
From the moment the engine stops, some systems and mechanisms (windshield wipers, power windows, sliding and tilting roof panel, dome lights, car radio, etc.) it can only be used for a total of 30 minutes to avoid draining the battery too much
After the allotted 30 minutes have passed, the message "Power saving mode activated" will appear on the multifunction display and the operation of these systems will be temporarily suspended.
To restart temporarily disconnected electrical consumers, start the engine and let it run for a few seconds.
If the battery is discharged, starting the engine will not be possible.
Automatic unloading of the on-board electrical network
While the vehicle is moving, some functions are performed (air conditioning, rear window heating, electric interior heating in vehicles with diesel engines, etc.) may be temporarily suspended depending on the battery's charge level
Temporarily disabled functions will be re-enabled automatically once the battery reaches the appropriate charge level.
Note: Manually resuming paused features remains possible, but doing so increases the risk of draining the battery.
Automatic switching on of low beam headlights
To activate automatic low beam headlights:
- turn the ignition key to the "Auxiliary power" position;
- set the lighting switch to position "0";
- press the end of the switch for 2 seconds, a confirmation message and a beep will appear on the multifunction display screen.

To disable this function, follow the same steps.
Safety precautions when working with electrical equipment
To avoid damaging semiconductor devices when working with electrical equipment, follow these guidelines:
- do not disconnect the battery, alternator, or any electrical connectors while the engine is running;
- remove the cable from the negative terminal of the battery;
- when performing electric welding work on a vehicle, turn off the alternator and electronic control device;
- do not allow the engine to run with the generator disconnected from the electrical system;
- do not check the generator's serviceability by shorting its terminals to ground.
General recommendations for working with electrical equipment
Before removing electrical components or disconnecting electrical connectors, turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
After installing electrical components or electrical connectors, connect the ground wire to the battery.
Initiate all electronic systems.
Recommendations for working with airbags and pyrotechnic seat belt tensioners
When performing any work on the control panel, steering column, front seats, central airbag and seat belt system, or during any welding or body straightening work, deactivate the integrated airbag and seat belt system.
The pyrotechnic component assembly must always be disconnected before using measuring instruments, such as an ohmmeter or other live instruments, to test the components and electrical wires.
The pyrotechnic kit may be activated if live equipment is used to troubleshoot the system.
Initiation of electronic systems after connecting the battery
Window lifter. After each battery disconnection, the power window function must be re-initiated. To do this:
- turn on the ignition;
- raise the driver's door window with the electric window lift up to the stop and continue holding the button down for another 2 seconds;
- lower the driver's door window with the electric window lifter down to the stop and continue holding the button down for another 2 seconds;
- fully raise the glass with a single press of the button;
- fully lower the glass by pressing the button once.
Attention! Perform this operation for all vehicles with dual-mode (sequential) window lifters.
Lift and slide roof panel. After each battery disconnection, re-initiate the roof sliding/tilting function. Initiate only in the maximum lift position (3rd position) by pressing the roof sliding panel switch button for more than 1 second.
A curtain with an anti-clamping system on 307 SW vehicles. Possible curtain and anti-clamping system operation options:
- if the curtain is open or closed all the way when the battery is disconnected (or engine power supply), then the system does not require re-initiation, since it stores its stop positions in memory;
- if the curtain moves at the moment when the battery is disconnected (or engine power supply), system reinitialization required;
- if, during the initiation of the anti-jamming system, the curtain encounters any obstacle in its path, the system will perceive this locking position as a fully open position;
- to reinitialize the system, disconnect the battery (or engine power supply) during the opening or closing cycle and start the initiation procedure again;
- to initiate the curtain clamp protection system, hold the switch in the closed position until the curtain is completely closed and continue pressing the switch for another 2 seconds.
Caution! If the system loses its "Open" and "Closed" positions, the shade will only be able to open a quarter of its full travel.
