Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Drain the coolant.
Remove the timing belt.
Remove the water pump mounting bolts.

Remove the water pump 1 (figure 3.48).
Remove the water pump seal.
Installation
Use special compound D2 to clean the surface under the sealing gasket.
Install the water pump with a new gasket and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 18 Nm.
Install the timing belt.
Fill with coolant and bleed it.
Connect the ground wire to the battery.
