- remove the gearbox together with the clutch;
- stop the flywheel from turning with a special tool;
- unscrew the flywheel mounting bolts;
Note. When installing the flywheel, use only new bolts.
- remove the flywheel.
Check the technical condition of the flywheel, which must meet the following requirements:
- risks, scoring and other damages on the surface of the flywheel from the side of the clutch disc are not allowed;
- the teeth of the flywheel crown should not have much wear.
Install the flywheel in the following order:
- clean the mating surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft;
- make sure the dowel pin is in place;
- install the flywheel on the crankshaft and screw the mounting bolts;
- stop the flywheel from turning using a special tool and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque;
- complete the subsequent installation in the reverse order of removal.
