The cylinder block is cast from cast iron and has no removable liners. The cylinder diameter is 82.2 mm. The cylinder block has nozzles for oil cooling of the pistons. The number of main bearings is 5. Holes A (figure 4.28) are used to supply coolant to cool the upper part of the cylinder block. There is a drain plug for the coolant on the rear surface of the engine.

Note: Cylinders are counted from the flywheel side.
