The cylinder block is cast iron and does not have removable liners. Cylinder diameter 82.2 mm. The cylinder block has nozzles for oil cooling of the pistons. Number of main bearings 5. Holes A (pic. 4.28) are used to supply coolant to cool the upper part of the cylinder block. On the rear plane of the engine is a plug for draining the coolant.
Note. The cylinders are counted from the flywheel side.
