2. Remove rear shock absorber (see above).
3. Lower the rear of the machine onto the wheels so that the anti-roll bar clamp can be removed from the desired side. Disconnect the handbrake cable and remove the nut from the suspension arm.
4. Raise and support the rear of the machine again. Remove the wheel on the desired side.
5. Remove the required handbrake cable clamps. Disconnect the brake hose and plug or pinch it to avoid loss of brake fluid. Remove the brake pipe union clamp.
6. Pull out the handbrake cable. Support the suspension arm and remove the pivot bolt (see photo). After that, the lever can be removed from the cross.
7. The lever is installed in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following points:
- A. Replace brake pipe fitting and handbrake cable clamps.
- b. Install a new self-locking nut on the suspension arm pivot bolt and tighten it to the correct torque with the rear of the machine still raised.
- V. When finished, adjust the handbrake and bleed the brakes.
