2. Remove the rear suspension shock absorber (see above).
3. Lower the rear of the car onto the wheels so that the stabilizer bar clamp on the desired side can be removed. Disconnect the handbrake cable and remove the nut from the suspension arm.
4. Raise and support the rear of the car again. Remove the wheel on the desired side.
5. Remove the cable clamps of the desired handbrake. Disconnect the brake hose and plug or clamp it to prevent loss of brake fluid. Remove the brake pipe nipple clamp.
6. Pull out the handbrake cable. Support the suspension arm and remove the pivot bolt (see photo). After this, the lever can be removed from the crosspiece.
7. The lever is installed in reverse order. Please note the following points:
- a. Replace the clamps of the brake pipe nipple and handbrake cable.
- b. Install a new self-locking nut onto the control arm pivot bolt and tighten it to the specified torque with the rear of the vehicle still raised.
- c. Upon completion, adjust the handbrake and bleed the brakes.
