2. Note the position of the generator power wires and then disconnect them from its rear cover (see photo).
3. Loosen the adjusting and pivot bolts, turn the adjuster towards the engine and remove the drive belt from the pulley (see photo).
4. Support the generator and unscrew and remove the adjusting and hinge bolts. Carefully remove the generator from the vehicle.
5. The generator is installed in reverse order. Before connecting the wires to the battery, check that the generator wiring is already connected and all nuts are securely tightened.
6. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt (see next section).

1. The removal and installation procedure is the same as above, but please note that due to the fact that the hinge bolt cannot be completely pulled out, the hole for it in the bracket is made with a slot (see photo).
