2. Assemble the oil pump parts (see section 28).
3. Check that the plunger, spring and safety valve plug are absolutely clean, lubricate them with clean engine oil and install them in place next to the filter seat (see pictures), by replacing the sealing washer with a new one.
4. Replace the oil pressure sensor with a new sealing washer (see photo).
5. Install the distributor clamping plate and fix it with a bolt with a lock washer.
6. Install a new O-ring on the oil transfer sleeve on the surface of the cylinder block next to the tensioner plate (see photo).
7. Install a new timing housing gasket on the cylinder block, fixing it in place with sealant (see photo).
8. Install the timing cover. After installing the casing, carefully cut off the excess gasket protruding above the surface of the valve cover (see pictures).
