2. Check that the oil line cover is completely clean and install it in place with a new gasket (see photo). Insert 5 mounting bolts with new copper washers and tighten them to the specified torque.

3. Install the following parts on the engine:
- a. Thermostat (see chapter 2 and photo).
- b. Water pump and fan (see chapter 2).
- in. Exhaust manifold and damper (see chapter 3 and photo).
- g. Fuel pump (see chapter 3).
- d. Starter (see chapter 10).
- e. Distributor and ignition coil (see chapter 4).

It is best to leave the installation of the intake manifold and carburetor until after the engine is installed in the car, as this will allow the connection of the gearshift lever mechanism and the intake fuel pump. The fuel pump outlet pipe can be installed now if it has not already been done.
4. Inspect the engine and gearbox again to make sure nothing is missing.
