For the same time interval, the counter increases its readings by a certain number of units (wear) depending on the temperature of the gearbox.
The counter has a capacity of 32958 units (wear), which corresponds to 6000 hours of operation at an oil temperature below 95°C.
When the counter's capacity (memory) is completely full, the transmission control computer informs the customer of the presence of an error by simultaneously flashing the "Sport" and "Snow" indicators in the instrument cluster.
Using the diagnostic tool, in the "Parameter Measurement" menu, a check is made to determine whether an oil change is required or whether there are any transmission faults.
Using the diagnostic tool, you can also change the oil aging counter readings if necessary.

The oil aging counter readings must be changed in the following cases:
- after replacing the gearbox;
- after replacing the transmission control computer;
- with each addition of 0.5 liters of new oil into the gearbox.
After replacing the gearbox, it is necessary to reset the oil aging counter to zero.
After replacing the transmission control computer, it is necessary to record the counter value from the old computer and enter it into the new computer.
Each time you add 0.5 liters of new oil to the gearbox, reduce the counter reading by 2750 units.
To change the oil aging counter readings, you must use the DIAG 2000 ACTIA device.
