Figure 1.89. Opening doors from the passenger compartment
The central locking system is provided on all models, including the 206 SW, and can be activated from the passenger compartment, with the front doors closed, by pressing the A button (figure 1.89) on the driver's door.
As a result, all doors, the trunk and the fuel filler cap are blocked.
When the rear doors are locked, only the corresponding door button is closed.
To unlock the door, simply lift up button A or pull the handle.
If any of the doors is open or not closed properly, a buzzer sounds and a pictogram appears on the display while the engine is running.
Child lock prevents the rear doors from being opened from inside the vehicle.

To lock, insert the ignition key into slot 1 (figure 1.90) and rotate it 90°.
Figure 1.91. Opening the fuel tank filler flap
The fuel filler cap is opened manually by inserting the ignition key into the fuel filler cap lock and turning it to the left, counterclockwise (figure 1.91). After this, you can open the hatch.
On the inside of the hatch cover there is a plate indicating the permitted octane numbers of fuel for your car. The capacity of the car's fuel tank is about 50 liters. Do not overfill the tank, as this may disrupt the normal operation of the engine systems.
