- disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
- open the trunk door;
- remove the seal from the trunk lid opening;

- move the trim panel away from the luggage compartment threshold 2 (figure 9.12);
- unscrew the 3 nuts securing the rear light;
- disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear light 1;
- remove the tail light from the car.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- connect the ground wire to the battery;
- check the functionality of the rear light;
- initiate all electronic systems.
