- lift the glass up to the stop;
- turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
- remove the front door trim panel;

- from the inside back side of the door, peel off the dust and moisture protective film at the top and bottom 5 (see Figure 10.12);
- remove the inner door opening handle 3 by pulling it towards the door hinges;
- release the rod 4 of the inner door opening handle from the clamps;
- unscrew the screws 1 securing the rear door glass guide;
- remove the rear door glass guide through hole A in the inner door panel;

- disconnect rod 2 (see Figure 10.13) from the lever of the outer door opening handle;
- disconnect rod 3 from the front door lock lever;

- unlock the lock by pulling lever 1 (figure 10.14) down first (in direction B), then towards the door (C);
- remove the decorative cover of the lock cylinder;
- remove the outer handle of the 2nd door;

- drill out the rivets 1 (figure 10.15) lock cylinder bracket mounts;
- remove the lock cylinder bracket;

- using a screwdriver blade, press the lock 1 and pull it in the direction of arrow E shown in the figure 10.16 Remove the lock cylinder from the bracket.
To install the front door lock cylinder:
- secure the dust and moisture protection film, installing it without folds or tears;
- the surface on which the dust and moisture protective film is glued must be perfectly clean;
- further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- install the front door trim panel;
- connect the ground wire to the battery;
- check the functionality of electrical equipment;
- initiate all electronic systems.
