- remove the rear door trim panel;
- lift the glass up to the stop;

- from the inside of the door, peel off the dust and moisture protection film at the top at the back 5 (figure 10.19);
- remove the inner door opening handle 4 by pulling it towards the door hinges;
- release the rod 3 of the inner door opening handle from the clamps;
- remove the protective plate 2 from scratches;
- remove the screws 1 securing the rear door lock;
- disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door lock;
- remove the rear door lock through the hole in the inner door panel.
To install the rear door lock:
- fix the dust and moisture protection film, installing it without folds or tears. The surface on which the dust and moisture protective film is glued must be perfectly clean;
- further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- connect the ground wire to the battery;
- check the functionality of electrical equipment;
- initiate all electronic systems.
