Replacing the rear door trim panel (Peugeot 307)

To remove the rear door trim panel:
  • turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
  • open the back door;
  • turn the inside door opening handle to the open position;

  • using a spatula 2 (see Figure 10.11), installed above the handle axis, release the decorative trim 1 of the inner door opening handle from the clips. Pull the decorative trim away from the door and remove it;

  • remove screws 2 (figure 10.18) door trim fastenings on the front edge of the door and in the recess of the inner door handle;
  • using a special trim removal clamp 1311 or a homemade device in the form of a flat fork, release the door trim from the clips around the perimeter. Do not apply too much force to avoid breaking the fasteners;
  • remove the rear door trim panel by moving it upwards;
  • disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door speaker.

To install the rear door trim panel:


  • replace the dust and moisture protection film if it is damaged. Fix the dust and moisture protection film, installing it without folds or tears. The surface on which the dust and moisture protective film is glued must be perfectly clean;
  • further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • install the rear door trim panel;
  • connect the ground wire to the battery;
  • check the functionality of electrical equipment;
  • initiate all electronic systems.
