- lower the glass down as far as it will go;
- remove the lower seal of the outer part of the glass;
- remove the lower molding seal;
- remove the rear door trim panel;
- peel off the top part of the dust and moisture protection film from the inside of the door;

- remove the inner handle 5 (see Figure 10.20) opening the door by pulling it towards the door hinges;
- release rod 1 of the inner door opening handle from the clamps;
- remove the protective plate 3 from scratches;
- if the vehicle has a manual window lift, install the window lift handle;
- lift the glass so that the glass mounting bolt 5 appears in the hole B of the inner door panel;
- unscrew the 2 bolts securing the rear glass guide;
- unscrew the bolts 5 securing the glass to the window regulator;
- manually lift the glass up to the stop and secure it with adhesive tape;
- lower the window lift mechanism to the down position;
- lower the glass down as far as it will go;
- protect the front of the glass frame by sticking some adhesive tape on it;

- start removing the glass from the outside of the door, lifting it up and removing the back of the glass from the door (figure 10.21).
To install the rear door glass:
- attach the dust and moisture protection film, which must be installed without folds or tears. The surface on which the dust and moisture protective film is glued must be perfectly clean;
- further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
