Front door glass replacement (Peugeot 307)

  • open the front door;
  • lower the glass down as far as it will go;
  • remove the lower seal of the outer part of the glass;
  • remove the lower molding seal;
  • raise the glass one third of its travel;
  • turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery;
  • remove the front door trim panel;

  • peel off the dust and moisture protective film from the bottom of the door from the inside 2 (see Figure 10.17);
  • unscrew the two bolts 1 securing the glass to the window regulator;
  • remove glass 2 from the window lifter and, moving it upwards, remove the glass through the outer part of the door.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • install the front door trim panel;
  • connect the ground wire to the battery;

Caution: If the dust and moisture-proof film is damaged, replace it. Attach the dust and moisture protection film, which must be installed without folds or tears. The surface to which the dust and moisture protective film is applied must be perfectly clean.



  • check the functionality of electrical equipment;
  • initiate all electronic systems.
