2. To save time and avoid unnecessary problems, it is recommended to assemble the engine in the following sequence:
- A) crankshaft (see paragraph 18);
- 6) pistons with connecting rods (see paragraph 19);
- V) oil pump (see chapter 2B or 2B, whichever is applicable);
- G) oil pan (see chapter 2B or 2B, whichever is applicable);
- d) flywheel (see chapter 2B);
- e) cylinder head (see chapter 2B, 2B or paragraph 5 of this chapter, as applicable);
- and) timing belt, as well as the corresponding idlers and toothed pulleys (see chapter 2B or 2B, whichever is applicable);
- h) external elements of the engine.
3. Before assembling the engine, make sure that all parts of the engine are absolutely clean and dry. All faults must be corrected. The elements must be laid out on a completely clean work surface (or should be in separate containers).
