Cylinder head bolts - aluminum cylinder block: - first pass 20 Nm

second pass tightening at an angle of 240°

Cast iron cylinder block:
  • first pass - 20 nm
  • second pass tightening at an angle of 120°
  • third pass tightening at an angle of 120°

Camshaft sprocket mounting bolt - 80 Nm

Valve adjusting screw locknuts - 18 Nm

Cylinder head cover nuts - 5 Nm

Camshaft retaining plate - 15 Nm

Connecting Rod Bearing Nuts - 1/4 Liter Engine:
  • first pass - 20 nm
  • second pass tightening at an angle of 45°

Connecting rod bearing nuts - 1.6 liter engine: - 37.5 Nm

Main bearings - 1.4 liter engine:
  • Housing bolts - 40 Nm
  • Small bolts on the engine crankcase (along the outer edge) — 8 nm

Main Bearing Bolts - 1.6L Engine:
  • first pass - 20 nm
  • second pass - tightening at an angle of 50°

Flywheel bolts - 65 Nm

Crankshaft timing belt pulley bolt - 100 Nm

Fastening the belt pulley to the belt pulley housing - 8 Nm

Cooling system outlet fitting housing - 8 Nm

Front oil seal cover - 8 Nm

Rear oil seal flange - 8 nm

Ignition distributor drive housing - 8 Nm

Mounting the ignition distributor on the housing - 8 Nm

Fuel pump on the cylinder head - 8 Nm

Cylinder head oil dipstick tube - 15 Nm

  • second pass - completely loosen

  • fourth pass - tightening to an angle of 300°

Cylinder Head Bolts - 16-Valve Engines:
  • first pass - up to 35 nm
  • second pass - up to 70 nm
  • third pass tightening at an angle of 160°

Camshaft Timing Pulley Bolt - 35 Nm

Camshaft bearing caps - 15 Nm

Flywheel bolts - 50 Nm

Crankshaft timing belt pulley bolt - 110 Nm

Timing Gear Cover Bolts - 10 Nm

Cylinder head cover - 10 Nm

Timing Belt Tensioner Bolts - 16 Nm

Main bearing cap bolts - 70 Nm

Connecting rod bearing caps:
  • first pass - up to 40 nm
  • second pass - completely loosen
  • tighten the third pass to 20 Nm with an additional 70° angle

Oil drain plug - 30 Nm
