The vehicles are equipped with a four-cylinder in-line diesel engine DV4TD with direct injection, turbocharging and liquid cooling. Turbocharging is achieved using a non-adjustable turbocharger without a charge air cooler.

The integrated intake system includes the intake manifold, air filter, cylinder head cover and oil separator (crankcase gas recirculation system).

Technical data

The cylinder head is made of aluminum alloy with two valves per cylinder and a camshaft located in the cylinder head.

The valves are driven by roller levers and hydraulic tappets.

The engines use a cross-flow design, where air enters the engine cylinders on one side of the engine and exhaust gases are expelled on the other side of the engine. With this engine design, cylinder filling and combustion product removal are significantly improved.

The cylinder block is made of aluminum alloy with cast iron liners installed during casting.

The gear oil pump is located on the timing drive side and is driven by the crankshaft.

The crankshaft is forged steel with 8 counterweights and 5 main journals.

Forged steel connecting rods with a split lower head, cover fastening with 2 bolts.



COMMON RAIL BOSCH EDC 16 injection system with a high-pressure fuel pump driven by a timing belt. This system is distinguished by the absence of a fuel pump.

The timing mechanism is driven by a synchronous toothed belt with an automatic tension roller.

The water pump is driven by a timing belt. The coolant does not require replacement throughout its entire service life.

Attachment drive using a pulley with a vibration damper.

The emission control system complies with EURO 3 standards.

The oxidation catalytic converter is installed at the outlet of the exhaust manifold.

The sealing rings provide a crankshaft seal on the oil pump side and on the flywheel side, as well as a camshaft seal on the timing belt drive pulley side and have a sealing edge made of pre-formed Teflon.
