Engine and gearbox — disconnection (Peugeot 305)

1. Clean the engine and gearbox removed from the vehicle from external dirt.

2. Loosen the bolts and remove the TDC sensor (see photo). Remove the bolts and sensor holder.



3. Using a hex key, loosen the bolts and remove the starter.

4. Loosen the bolts and remove the lower gearbox cover (see photo).



5. Support the engine, unscrew the bolts and remove the gearbox from the engine.
