1. The engine with gearbox is removed through the bottom of the engine compartment.
2. The gearbox can be removed separately through the bottom of the engine compartment, after which, in theory, it is possible to remove and lower the engine separately. However, this method is not recommended, as it requires additional work to disconnect the transmission, which is more conveniently carried out on an engine and transmission removed from the car.
