127. Screw in the bolts securing the driven gear to the differential box.
128. Remove side gears (see photo). (On the latest models, in which the side gear is equipped with a centering ring, to remove the side gears, you will most likely have to remove the differential pinion gears).
129. Knock out the cylindrical pins that secure the axis of the differential satellites. Remove the axle and satellites with their washers (see photo). Please note that satellites and washers can be of different types (depending on model year) (see b/fig. 12.65).
130. Remove bearings with a press or puller.
131. Inspect all parts for wear and damage and replace if necessary. Lubricate all parts as they are installed.
132. Install bearings and press in (Score) into place with a suitable tube.
133. Install the axle with satellites and washers and fix it with new cylindrical pins, which should be driven in so that they stand in the center in their bores.
134. Install the side gears one by one and lock them in place using tool 8.0317 M or similar (see paragraph 20), inserted from the side of the driven gear (see photo). (On models with side gears equipped with centering rings, this is not required).
135. Install the driven gear with the chamfered side towards the differential box. Insert the pinion mounting bolts and tighten them diagonally to the correct torque.
