- remove the steering gear;
- fix the steering mechanism in a vice;
Attention! To prevent dirt from entering the power steering hydraulic circuit, use plastic plugs to plug both ports of the control valve and both pipes.

- with a 18 mm hexagon head, unscrew the stop nut 1 (pic. 7.16) and remove washer 2, rubber spacer 3 and pusher with sealing ring.
To install the feed dog stop:
- close the hole in the steering gear housing with a lint-free rag;
- use a tap to clean the threads in the steering gear case and carefully clean the socket for the rack stop. Take all measures to prevent even the smallest contaminants from entering the system;
- periodically replace all parts associated with the pusher;
- lubricate all parts of the rack stop with G13 grease;
- install a pusher with a sealing ring, a rubber spacer, a washer and screw in the stop nut;
- tighten the stop nut to 10 Nm;
- adjust the gap between the rail stop and the nut;
- install the steering gear.
