- loosen the front wheel mounting bolts, raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the wheel;
- remove the front brake pads;
- remove the cap from the compensatory tank of the brake system, close the neck of the tank with polyethylene and screw the cap back on. This is necessary so that the lid hermetically closes the expansion tank;

- remove bolts 1 (pic. 8.11) and remove the caliper 2 from the steering knuckle.
To install the front brake caliper:
- clean dust and dirt from the caliper, and rust from the edge of the brake disc. Clean the brake disc with HENKEL type solvent;
- check that there is no leakage of brake fluid from under the piston;
- check the condition and proper fit of the cuff and protective corrugated caps;
- check the brake disc for cracks, especially around the wheel bolt holes, as well as for wear or mechanical damage, and replace both brake discs if necessary;
- measure the thickness of the brake disc;
- make sure that the guide pins of the caliper slide freely;
- if necessary, replace defective parts;
- install the caliper holder with caliper on the steering knuckle;
- fix the caliper holder with 2 new bolts, having previously coated the threads of the bolts with a locking compound that prevents them from self-unscrewing;
- tighten the caliper holder mounting bolts to 105 Nm;
- install the brake hose on the caliper and tighten the brake hose connecting nut to 15 Nm;
- install the brake hose on the brake pipe and tighten the brake hose connecting nut to 16 Nm;
- install brake pads;
Attention! Do not kink the brake hose.
Attention! Make sure that when turning the front wheel from one extreme position to another, the brake hose does not come into contact with the elements of the front suspension and the body.
- remove air from the hydraulic circuit of the brake system;
Attention! Be sure to replace all the pads on one axle of the vehicle, even if only one of them is worn. If you reinstall the old brake pads, be sure to mark them before removing them.
- install the wheel and secure with bolts, tightening them with a torque of 90 Nm.
