Idle speed increase device

  • On a cold engine, pull the cable.
  • Place the lever (3) in contact with the fast idle speed adjusting screw (8).
  • While holding the lever in its position, tighten the cable clamp. If necessary, adjust the fast idle speed to 950±50 rpm. Without changing the screw position, tighten the lock nut.

Residual flow adjustment

Insert a 1.0 mm feeler gauge between the accelerator lever (7) and the stop screw (5). After loosening the lock nut, adjust the stop screw (5) so that the idle speed increases by 20-50 rpm. Tighten the lock nut and pull out the feeler gauge.

Idle speed adjustment

The idle speed is adjusted using the adjusting screw (4). The engine should run at 750 ±50 rpm. If an automatic transmission or air conditioning is installed, the idle speed should be 50 rpm higher.

Switch on the accelerator lever

After moving the switch 8.5 mm from the rear stop (5) in the "gas supply" direction, the contact should be open. If necessary, loosen both screws (b) and move the switch into the slots accordingly.
